Critique groups

Started my first Critique group in writing and it is a lot harder then you think.  I have been learning techniques on how to critique.  I try to look for pacing, character arc and if the sentences are clear. I am learning about dialogue. How to show more action and less telling in stories.  It is hard trying to change how you write all these years. Hopefully the more I can critique the better I can get.
